Golden Jubilee Inaugural Ceremony postponed to Feb/Mar 2006

Dear Alumni,

  Due to few unavoidable circumstances, the inaugural function has been postponed... In stead of earlier announced date of 8th & 9th January 2006, the function shall be held in the month of February / March 2006...

  The 3rd Core Committee Meeting, which met at UCE Burla yesterday and which was attended by members of all subcentres of Orissa, reviewed all the issues and took this decision... We are working out another date in February / March 2006 which shall be communicated to you, once the date is finalized...

The Technical Festival SAMAVESH which is organized by the students and sponsored by Alumni Association however shall continue as scheduled, i.e. on 8th, 9th & 10th January... Students from various engineering colleges shall be participating in various competitions alongside our UCE students...

Dr Braja M. Das - the Dean, College of Engineering and Computer Science of California State University (Sacramento, California U.S.A.) and Dr Rabi N Mohapatra - Department of Computer Science, Texas A&M University, Texas will address the inaugurating session of the Technial Festival SAMAVESH on 8th January.... Both are alumnus of UCE....
